I am so sorry and pray for comfort and peace for the family. Blake, I knew your Mom a long time ago. (1973-1980) We met at a lake in Okla, we both had speed boats, you werent born yet. When you were 5ish you came to south Texas to visit! I visited her in Ft Collins a couple of times. Your Mom was special, she was the one that offered to drive us to the OKC airport and pick us up after our honeymoon! 1974 Then we loss track but always knew I had a friend, she reached out to me @5 yrs ago to wish me a happy birthday. I loved, Karen. Wish we could have settled closer together. You take care and May God always bless you and your son. Wish I could find the pictures. You on that dirt bike

Years of memories and laughter are what Karen was to me. We had the best of times just talking and sharing our thoughts and ideas. Taco Tuesday would often find us at Taco Johh's for a couple of hours. I loved watching her excitement as she would pick a brilliant shade of red for her nails. She had found a nail technician who treated her like gold-his name was Vincent. We would giggle about what a cutie he is. I will miss her kindness and sharp sense of humor. It was my privilege to be a part of Karen's life.

Karen was one in a million! Her ability to remember so many people, dates, events, etc. was astounding. I used to refer to her as a walking Rolodex. She and I shared many breakfasts and lunches together where we covered every topic from A to Z. We could have easily solved the problems of the world over burritos and spring rolls! God bless your family and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. She is in good hands now.
