Obituary of Austin Taylor Jones

Austin Taylor Jones, passed away at the far too young age of 28 on October 1, 2023.  He worked at Kaput Industries for 10 years, where his boss, Richard Poche, and the whole staff, was just like family to him.  When he wasn’t working he enjoyed taking his dog Mia on long car rides with his dad & quizzing him on who the artist was for each song Austin played on the ride, spending as much time as possible with his dad (including ending his daily work day in his office just to be close to him), attending concerts and music festivals with his girlfriend, country music and honky tonks, being surrounded by pets, collecting things of all sorts, but especially silver, singing along (perfectly) to Bruno Mars (and many other artists actually), traveling to see family or new sights, watching NASCAR & Ohio State Football (OH-IO!), watching movies, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with the people he cared about so deeply.  He reluctantly leaves behind his father, Mark Jones, mother Vivian Sanchez, sister Jennifer Kilislian (Maverick, Jaxson & Sariyah), Aunt Paula Brough (Uncle JB and cousins Cole and Cody De Leon), Uncle Brian Jones (Debbie & cousins Ryan and Trevor), and long-time girlfriend Zoe White (and family).

A celebration of life with a reception to follow will take place at River of Life Church in Wellington on November 4, 2023 at 10am. It is requested to wear something red or Ohio State in honor of Austin and his favorite football team. GO BUCKEYES!
